Skin Graft Expander - SGE

  The Skin graft is usually put through a speical machine callled sking graft expander, The expander will
    cut tiny slits in the graft, which allow the graft to stretch for coverting large burn area with less skin.

  With its unique design it guarantees to transform a skin graft into an efficient graft provider
    increased area coverage. Its design facilitates easy and  accurate meshing of tender skin in the
    thickness range of 0.2 to 0.8 mm and width upto 120 mm.

  The aluminium base holds two inclined plates. The front plates supports the skin graft when it is
    introduced between the two roller. The upper spacers, lower spacers and cutters are manufactured
    from stainless steel special alloy for corrosion resistance and also heat treated for required hardness
    and wear resistance.

  Skin graft expander is available in four expansion rations 1:2, 1:4, 1:6, 1:8 the sking strips of the
    meshed graft have a uniform width of 1.76 mm he blade design (cutter) eliminates the need for
    resharpening. Skin graft expander can be autoclaved at 134⁰ C (279⁰ F) for 20 minutes or according
    to hospital procedure.
